Favela - Living on the Edge
Brazil is a country with a rich culture that is often experienced through its food, art and music. These aspects of Brazilian culture are what make it such a unique and interesting place to live. However, they also contribute to the informal communities that can be found throughout the country. These communities are often made up of people who are struggling to make ends meet and often rely on each other for support. While they can be a great source of support, they can also be a source of conflict.This artwork is fascinating due to all of the intricate details and patterns. There is a beautiful and chaotic mix of colors and shapes that is sure to catch any viewer's eye. This provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Favela.
It is always a challenge for me to take an image from pencil and paper and then develop it into a finished piece in Photoshop.
